After some long delay, the new season of Fortnite has finally arrived. Chapter 2, Season 3 of Fortnite is highly focused on the aquatic gameplay, so if you prefer going aquatic then this season if for you. Season 2 has already come to an end with the Doomsday event and it showed that the island is heavily surrounded by water which is a hint about what we are going to get on the upcoming season.
Aquatic Gameplay is the main focus in S3
The story leads players to a partially flooded island with a variety of activities they can try. It includes fighting machine-assisted marauders, exploring areas that have been adapted to floods, and even riding a hedge.
There has been a noticeable change in the map. The western portion of the island which is submerged underwater is rendering ancient locations such as Weeping Woods and Slurpy Swamp inaccessible. This loss is however caused by the reappearance of the fortified base of the Agency area. Everything related to water is surely going to improve starting from the boats which are more clearly visible than before. The mobility in the water has been increasing with the introduction of Water skiing.
“As the time goes on and the water recedes, even more locations will be uncovered and as the roadways become more open, you will discover new ways to get around,” said Epic Games. These features are not gonna stay for long and are meant for a short time.
This also brings in new challenges for the players who will face various whirlpools around the island that need some pretty decent skills to avoid. Sharks are hungry and as dangerous as hell. The last season was released in February and it has been quite a long time now but we are hoping that it would be worth the wait for all the Fortnite lovers.
The new Battle passes introduced in this new season featuring our DC comics hero, the legendary Aquaman. The previous was on the funny marvel of her Deadpool.
