Val Kilmer who is known for his role in the movies like Top Gun, Batman Forever, has opened up about his throat cancer in a TV interview and has also admitted that he is shy. In an interview given to Good Morning America on Tuesday, he said that he feels a lot better than he sounds and is feeling wonderful and said that he is healing very quickly. Val Kilmer was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2015. During the interview, he told that he is using tracheotomy which helps him to breath because the glands in his throat have swelled up.
In the interview later he revealed about his relationships and also told that he is a shy person despite the fact that he worked in the film The Doors, a movie which was about sex and drugs. He said that despite he having famous girlfriends like Cindy Crawford and Angelina Jolie, he was shy and lived a quiet life in New Mexico. He also opened up on his relationship with Cindy Crawford and said that “You have to be committed with a woman that’s as dynamic and as committed to their work as someone like Cindy Crawford who was the number one model on the planet at the time”.
He also spoke about the movie Top Gun: Maverick in which he is going to make an appearance. He termed the trailer as ” absolutely moving ” and said that he was surprised to see Tom Cruise wearing his jacket from the first movie. He has shown his talent with his new book, in which he recalled his relationship with the famous women like Jolie, Cher, Carly Simon and Crawford. He in his book admitted that he still mourns his breakup with actress Daryl Hannah and said after his breakup he cried almost every day. He said that he still loves Daryl and will continue to love her.
