A coronavirus challenge that went viral in which people were given the challenge of licking public toilet seats on TikTok has attracted many people. The same was the case with Larz a social influencer who took the challenge too seriously went viral after he filmed himself licking the public toilet seat. The influencer has now been tested positive for COVID-19 disease.
Larz posted a video in which he informed that he has been tested positive with the virus and is in the bed of a hospital and says he is “pretty hopped up on meds” after the diagnosis of disease. Though he has now deleted the video. He has been diagnosed with the disease just after two days of his video of licking a public toilet seat. Though it is not confirmed yet whether the cause of him being infected with the disease is due to his actions in the video or something else.
It all started after a 22-year-old influencer Ava Louise started the challenge on March 15 by licking the toilet seat in a plane bathroom and claimed that coronavirus could not harm her. From then the hashtag has started trending on social media and many influencers came forward and posted their video of licking toilet seats, car and door handle, and many other objects.
Many on social media have condemned Ava Louise for using the fear of coronavirus to make money and gain popularity. Despite all the criticism, she has gained $4000 from the publicity generated
