The Split season 2 is back on screens after a long wait. Abi Morgan’s creation got a healthy review by the viewers. According to BBC, ‘It is an authentic, multi-layered, witty examination of modern marriage and legacy of divorce’. The series is a piled up with a bunch of divorce stories and plenty of drama between the Defoe and the Stern family.

The first series of this epic drama premiered on 24th April 2018 making it a hit and popular among the viewers. Soon after the finale, work started for season 2.
The second season returned on the 11th of February as fans rejoiced. It has aired a total of three-episode till now. The upcoming fourth episode is shifted to 2nd March rather than its normal Tuesday routine.
Plot of The Split
The series involves many kind of divorce cases and lawyers. It also sets up the dramatic chaos between Defoe and Stern families.
What happened in season 1?
Divorce lawyer Hannah Stern leaves her family law firm which is managed by her mother, Ruth Defoe. She joins the rival firm called Noble & Hale. The youngest sister Rose is still exploring her interest, while Nina stays at Defoe. Rose is stuck in figuring what she really wants or should marry James. After a period of time the father of these girls appears, unfolding many secrets and creating tension. But suddenly Oscar passes away in Rose’s marriage.
Hannah finds out about Nathan’s external affair. And her life shatters in pieces. In the midst of all these chaos, she meets someone from his past. Christie and Hannah surely had a spark between them.
At the end the two firms agreed to collaborate and merge together. They named it Noble Hale Defoe.
What are we expecting in season 2?
Hannah is continuing her relationship with both Nathan (officially) and Christie (secretly). But deep inside she is choked in her relationship with Nathan. She finds it difficult to forgive the actions he did. What turns her love-life will take?
In this season Hannah also handles a high profile divorce case. Her new client Fi Hansen wants to set herself free from a manipulating relationship with Richie Hansen. This celebrity couple is very popular among the press. But the truth somehow comes out showing
the reality behind the “happy couple”. Hannah should get in field to help Fi.
