Champion of Rio Olympic Kyle Chalmers and his Adelaide based swim team under the guidance of coach Peter bishop have returned to their positions after a gap of approximately one month.

Looking forward towards the future of sport ,America is going to remove some restrictions which were put in place due to the coronavirus epidemic.It was decided in the federal cabinet meeting which was held today.

Reopening of sports facilities will be done in South Australia and the Northern Territory over the coming weeks.But these relaxations are given ,,only if the strict guidelines regarding the social distancing will be followed.Each lane will have only one swimmer at a time .

This will motivate some other states too to promote the sport within their nation.

The 2021 Commonwealth Youth has also been postponed so that the Olympic and Paralympic Games may not clash with it.


Statement of Bishop to Sydney Morning Herald

Bishop told the Sydney Morning Herald that they are concerned about the swimmers ,their health …so to cheer them up ,they announced their return.

On 29 th April Australian Olympic Committee (AOC) has  completed its 100 years. 

From the starting of the first game ,Australia has grown its representation and is among the top 10 nations in medal tallies.This shows their passion towards the sport and how much they are enthusiastic about the sports.A ‘home game’ is also considered to be something very special for the athletes .

Great Swimmers in Australia

Some Australian swimmers which are great inspiration to our nation are Dawn Fraser, Murray Rose, Jon Henricks, David Theile, John Devitt and Lorraine Crapp along with track queens Betty Cuthbert and Shirley Strickland.

Mr coates has said that sydney has never seen the australia with this much of largest team of 628 athletes and with a record of 58 medals.

Mediterranean Games Which Was to Be Held on 25 June 2021 Has Been Delayed for 1 Year 

Organisers have confirmed that the 19 th edition of the games has been scheduled between 25 June-5 July 2022 so that there will be no clash with Olympic games in Tokyo due to the epidemic  .Everything is done under various principles regarding the safety ,health of athletes.
