The return of the spin off series of Star Wars has been confirmed.
The Mandalorian is the first live action series in Star Wars Franchise. The series is created by Jon Favreau. It first released in Disney+. The writer , showrunner and executive producer of the show is Favreau itself.
The series is set 25 years before The force awakens and 5 years after the return of the Jedi.
First season of the series premiered on November 12,2019on Disney+. It had 8 episodes.
Second season has already been ordered and will probably come out in October 2020.
Jim Fevreau will return with the show as Writer, producer and show runner.
Release date of The Mandalorian
Second season is already in production and has started filming. The renewal of the second season was confirmed by Jon on 13th November 2019. He posted on the Instagram a photo from the sets and captioned it with #themandalorian season 2.
Just recently in February, Bob Iger, Disney Chef announced that in October 2020, the season two will be premiered.
This time Jon will himself be seen directing the series. Pedro Pascal will be returning to the show as the bounty Hunter. Also we can expect the return of Nick Nolte, Gina Carano, Glancarlo Esposito and Werner Herzog in the show.
Season two will be available on Disney+. Spin offs of The Mandalorian are possible as Bob hinted that it could continue after second season.
