The Mandalorian Season 3 Cast, Release Date, Plot and Other News as Disney Announce Season 3

Season 2 of The Mandalorian will not be released on Disney+ before October but the good news for the fan is that the pre-production of season 3 has already begun. Mandalorian Season 2 has finished it’s filming and if COVID-19 does not affect the release of season 2 it will be released in October. The possibility of season 3 is filling the fans of the show with full of excitement.

Will There Be a Mandalorian Season 3?

Even before season 2 is released the pre-production work like scriptwriting, finding locations, hiring actors for new characters for The Mandalorian Season 3 has started from April 20. According to the reports creator, Jon Favreau has already begun the writing work for season3. The art department which includes Lucasfilm vice president and executive creative director, Doug Chiang has started to create the concept for season 3.

The Mandalorian Season 3 Release Date:

When it comes to releasing date for season 3 it can only be predicted for now. But the coronavirus pandemic may affect the filming of the third season and it could be put on hold. The first episode of season 1 was available on Disney’s streaming service on November 12, 2019, and the first episode of the second season is expected to stream on Disney+ in October this year. If we go by this trend the season 3 could be expected by September/October 2021. Also due to coronavirus, it could be shifted to late November or early December 2021.

About Its Plot:

With the second season still to be released the plot for the third season could only be guessed for now. Lucasfilm’s art department is still working on the concept design for season 3. The series content is based on Star Wars so the season 3 will also be built on that only.
