The MCU is a place where once a fan enters, he can never leave. Seeing the end of this phase of MCU made us all well up with tears. We all cried along when Captain returns and leaves his shield with Falcon. We can see he expects Bucky and Sam to work together and keep his memory alive. Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson are the only people living who really knew the emotional side of Captain America and his fans cannot be more elated to see them together.
The Falcon and Winter Soldier is being written by Malcolm Spellman and Derek Kolstad.
Disney+ has revealed that the show will premiere in August 2020. Though not s Trailer, we got the first look of all the Marvel shows coming to Disney+ as a Super Bowl surprise. Even if it was just a look, we couldn’t have been more excited.
Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan co-star keeping their roles from the MCU as Sam Wilson/Falcon and Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier. There have been talks about Daniel Bruhl and Emily Van Camp joining the cast reprising their characters of Helmut Zemo and Sharon Carter of the MCU. There is also talk of Desmond Chiam, Miki Ishikawa and Noah Mills joining the Cast.
There is little talk about Kari Skogland directing the series.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier have a lot in common, from being best friends to Steve Rogers to being his sidekicks, the both of them are seen evolving in the MCU.
They have worked towards and created their own place as a part of Avengers and in the MCU.
The comic adaptations have risen to become much more in the movies and now having a special spin-off series on their own right shows how these characters have evolved and gained their own fandoms.
We do sense a hint of hesitation from both of these characters towards each other. They do not entirely trust each other but they trust the Captain. Now, it will be interesting to see how these characters will evolve in each other’s presence, if not as friends, at least as confidantes who can trust each other enough to fall back on.
It will hopefully be a major hit with the MCU fans.
