The Eternals: Marvels Phase 4 Is Not Going To Disappoint

Marvel fans have parted with Phase 3 MCU with heavy hearts. Soon after, Marvel introduced phase 4 and gave its fans hope to be fulfilled. MCU is excited to launch it’s new, unknown characters. One such very new project is the Eternals. Though we have not heard of many Eternals we sure have heard of one of them- Thanos! Yes, Thanos is an Eternal and have a comic history that stretches back to 1976 when they were created by Jack Kirby.

The Eternals, in the comics, are an evolutionary version of humans on earth who possess powers and have a much longer life span.  The celestials, who are Space Gods assign the Eternals to protect the earth. MCU has given us a glimpse at a few celestials, one of them being Peter Quill’s father, Ego from the Guardians of the Galaxy Series.

In pivotal roles of the movie are:  Kumail Nanjiani as “cosmic-powered” Kingo, Brian Tyree Henry as “intelligent inventor” Phastos, Salma Hayek as “wise and spiritual leader” Ajak, Richard Madden as the “all-powerful” Ikaris, Lia McHugh as ” eternally young, old-soul” Sprite, Angelina Jolie as “fierce warrior” Thena, Don Lee as “powerful” Gilgamesh, Lauren Ridloff as “super-fast” Makkari.

Kit Harrington is rumored to feature in the film. In that case this will be a reunion for kit Harrington and Richard madden who played Jon Snow and Robb Stark in the game of thrones series. There is no confirmation that we will see them together on the screen. Gemma Chan is going to feature in the Eternals but she will not be playing the character of MinnErva from Captain Marvel, instead she will play the character Sersi.
