Season 7 might be the beginning of the end for CW Network’s long runner show The 100. The series has now completed six seasons with 84 episodes, and we have all been thoroughly engrossed with them so far. For any post-apocalyptic futuristic fictitious tv series, it is quintessential to create an atmosphere of despondence.

Executive raiser Jason Rothenberg shared this in an interview, “We’ve really been praying for this to be the last term for a while because it appears like it’s time to get out while the getting’s great. We want to leave them wanting more. We don’t want to overstay our welcome. All the cliches.”
Last season saw an end to the 125 years in cryosleep for our main characters. Waking up only to discover that they are no longer encircling Earth and have moved and brought to a new livable planet, Alpha, also recognised as Sanctum.
Subsequent to docking on this world, they discover a modern society, guided by commanding subdivisions known as the Primes. Nevertheless, they also create new vulnerabilities in this latest world. An enigmatic insurgent organisation distinguished as the Children of Gabriel is also set up as the counter-arc of this society.
WHEN IS SEASON 7 SCHEDULED TO COME OUT?
As of now, all we know is that the scheduled date for the show airing is pencilled in April. Although, if we are to follow keenly what the cast has been posting on their social media, we can be assured that the post-production has already begun.
What is going to result in season 7 of The 100?
Since it was slated to follow the famous eponymous novel written by Kass Morgan, it’s laborious to predict what’s going to follow in this season. The storyline will resume from the cliffhanger. However, the showrunners seem like they are packing up and shutting shop.
