Star Trek: Picard Season 1 Episode 5 and 6 Release Date, Recap, Spoilers And Other Details

Eighth series in Star Trek Franchise revolves around the character Jean-Luc Picard from Star Trek: The Next Generation and Kirsten Beyer, Akiva Goldsman, Michael Chabon, and Alex Kurtzman are the creators of the series.

The plot of the series features Picard after 20 years from the events of ‘Star Trek: Nemesis’ disturbed by the death of his friend Data and the Romulus destruction. After knowing about twin daughters of Data – Dahj and Soji; witnessing the death of Dahj he decides to protect Soji by any means.

The series first aired on ABC on 23rd January 2020. Seven episodes are out now and 3 more are remaining.

The series is already renewed for the second season.

Episode 5

Episode 5 of Star Trek: Picard was released on 20th February 2020 under the name- Stardust City Rag.
Seven of Nine played by Jeri Ryan was the star of this episode she kills Icheb in a flashback from 13 years back where he was being tortured by Bjayzl and his eye was ripped out. In present, she joins Picard to avenge the death of Icheb by killing Bjayzl. Picard and his crew are all set to rescue Maddox who is kept as a prisoner by Bjayzl by enacting prisoner exchange with help of Seven of Nine. Though Maddox is saved, Bjayzl is killed by Seven of Nine and Jurati herself kills Maddox.

Episode 5 definitely was the Best Episode of the series to date.

Episode 6

On 27 Feb 2020, Episode 6 was released with the title ‘The impossible box’.

In this episode, we saw Soji having recurrent dreams about her childhood and Narek taking advantage of her dreams to find out about her Homeland. When Narek sees Two red moons and stormy sky in Soji’s dream, he instantly gets to know her origin and plans to kill her. Picard and Hugh save Soji after she runs away to escape from Narek. Picard and Soji thus take leave in long-distance transportation device while Hugh and Elnor stays back to stop those who want Soji.


Sir Patrick Stewart plays the role of iconic Jean-Luc Picard while Agnes Jurati is played by Alison Pill.
The twin sisters Soji and Dahj are played by Isa Briones and Elnor is played by Evan Evagoras. Harry’s Treadway was seen in episode 6 as Narek.
