ZetaChain, the innovator behind the Universal Blockchain, has partnered with Google Cloud to enhance its multi-chain ecosystem of over 280 decentralized applications (dApps). This partnership enables ZetaChain developers to utilize Google Cloud’s robust infrastructure, advanced security capabilities, and Web3 validator services, propelling ZetaChain’s mission to provide seamless cross-blockchain access and connectivity comparable to the internet.
In this collaboration, Google Cloud joins ZetaChain as a validator across both mainnet and testnet environments, bolstering the network’s security and scalability with a diverse mix of institutional and community validators. Google Cloud’s Protocol Accelerator tools are a game-changer for ZetaChain developers, simplifying validator node setup, key management, and security requirements. This infrastructure helps streamline processes for developers globally, making it easier than ever to engage with ZetaChain’s ecosystem.
Additionally, ZetaChain is dedicating 1 million ZETA tokens to validators running on Google Cloud, with each of five validators receiving 200,000 ZETA. This commitment further supports the growth and stability of ZetaChain’s ecosystem while providing additional incentives for decentralized validation. “We’re thrilled to work with Google Cloud to enhance user experience and provide unified liquidity for Web3 users,” shared Ankur Nandwani, Core Contributor at ZetaChain. “Google Cloud’s technology will help drive the development of Universal Apps on ZetaChain, empowering a new wave of applications that seamlessly operate across Bitcoin and multiple blockchains.”
Richard Widmann, Head of Web3 Strategy at Google Cloud, echoed this excitement, emphasizing Google Cloud’s commitment to supporting developers in building the future of decentralized applications. Google Cloud’s validator capabilities and secure infrastructure are expected to play a significant role in helping ZetaChain scale and achieve broader interoperability for Web3 developers.
In addition, developers on ZetaChain will gain access to Google Cloud’s Web3 Startups Program, which offers credits and other resources to help projects scale. This support allows ZetaChain’s developer community to focus on building Universal Smart Contracts that can operate natively across multiple blockchains, including Bitcoin, from a single platform. Furthermore, Google Cloud’s Testnet Faucet will streamline access to ZETA testnet tokens, supporting developers as they test and deploy Universal Smart Contracts.
This collaboration represents a major step forward for ZetaChain, which has rapidly grown since launching earlier this year. Now with over 4 million unique wallets connected and more than 150 million transactions recorded, ZetaChain has positioned itself as a leader in cross-chain accessibility. The partnership with Google Cloud is expected to increase participation in staking, governance, and node operations, further supporting the growth of ZetaChain’s community of developers.
As the first blockchain to enable native connectivity across networks like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana, ZetaChain empowers developers to create Universal Apps that operate fluidly across multiple chains. With Google Cloud’s infrastructure support and the growing momentum of its developer ecosystem, ZetaChain is setting a new standard for Web3 application connectivity and scalability.
