The warning came after a protest was organised along a highway near the shanty houses of the slum in Manila’s Quezon City claiming that the resident was not getting any food packs and other relief supplies since the lockdown has begun. The police urged the people to go back to their home but they refused and the police then broke the protest and arrested 20 people. According to the resident they had nothing to eat and were forced to stage a protest as they had no other option and told that most of the male member of the families have been arrested and they would face more problem. The activist group have come in support of the protest and said the government should take measures so that $4 billion funds releaded for the help of poor family reaches the needy people.
