Sherlock Holmes 3 Reasling on Netflix 25 December 2020.

The release date of the much awaited film Sherlock Holmes 3 has been postponed from 25 December 2020 to 22 December 2021.

Sherlock is a television crime drama that introduces a modern adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes detective stories.

The third part of Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law’s Sherlock Holmes film series has been postponed.

Narcos’ co-maker Chris Brancato has composed the content for the new film, which will be produced by Susan Downey, Joel Silver, and Lionel Wigram.

Warner Bros said today around evening time that that the threequel featuring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law, has been postponed to December 22, 2021, with its former Christmas Day 2020 heading off to an untitled WB event film, per the studio.

It is announced that Sherlock Holmes 3 will now hit screens on December 22, 2021 – an entire year push back from its primary release date.

No clarification on what caused the delay was provided, however, it’s confirmed that the threequel is taking place 10 years after A Game of Shadows, which implies that it’ll officially be set during the 1900s.


The most significant member from the cast will be there without a doubt, Robert Downey Jr as Sherlock Holmes and Jude Law as Dr. James Watson.

The third series of the Sherlock Holmes franchise will follow the storyline of the second series of the threequel, consequently will be following the characters of Robert Downey Jr. as the title role of  and Jude Law as Dr. Watson. Paul Anderson, who is most popular for his character infamous British period crime drama, Peaky Blinders, is to show up in the third sequel as well.

Downey, 53, who played the famous British detective Sherlock Holmes in the series, and Law, 46, who played his popular sidekick, Dr. Watson, are both returning for the threequel.

The last two movies of the franchise were super duper hit victories, with Sherlock Holmes, released on 25 December 2009, making $524 million, and Sherlock Holmes: in December 2011, A Game of Shadows released making $545.4 million at the overall film industry. The third film will release the following 10 years-long hiatus.
