Sanditon Season 2 Release Date, Cast, Storyline and Other Updates

The Sanditon is a British Drama that is being loved by many people across the world. The show is very interesting and is based on a novel written by Jane Austen. But this is an unfinished novel so the fans, as well as the viewers, don’t know how the series will roll further. The brilliant novel was written by Jane just a few months before her death.

The show is created by Andrew Davies and he has made the show his own. The main story of the show is about a Young girl called Charlotte. She settles in a small peaceful village Sanditon. Charlotte came to this village to start a new better life and then she meets a handsome hunk Sidney.

There is no official verdict on the series till now. The ITV has left the show as it didn’t do well in the U.K. The show got a tough competition releasing on the same day as Peaky Blinders. It is rumored that Netflix might take up the show, but it is very unlikely. Besides that with no original story and a series of the incomplete novel it is difficult to see the rise of the amazing series again.

The cast of the show includes the likes of Rose Williams, Kris Marshall, Kate Ashfield, Crystal Clarke, Anne Reid, and Theo James. Besides these amazingly talented actors, there are other actors as well like Charlotte Spencer, Jack fox, Mark Stanley, Elizabeth Berrington, and Turlough Convery. The fans are hoping that the show will make a return.

Storyline : Sanditon Season 2

The show was funded by two companies ITV and PBS. In 2019 ITV declared that they will not support the show anymore due to low watching count. Besides that PBS also took it to twitter and said that they don’t wish to continue with the project anymore. The main writer of the novel by which the season started is also no more. So the storyline of the series for season 2 is still a mystery.
