Sanditon Season 2 Is Confirmed? Know About Cast and Release Date

Sanditon is a British TV series adapted by Emmy and BAFTA award-winning screenwriter Andrew Davies from an unfinished novel written by Jane Austen. It is a historical drama set during the Regency era, which stars Theo James and Rose Williams in the leading roles.

This unfinished manuscript of Jane was released in 8 parts on 25th August 2019. Jane couldn’t complete the rest of the novel because of her death in 1817, but before that, she had completed almost 24000 words (11 chapters) of Sanditon. Davies mainly developed the characters by himself to complete the series, but the majority of the first chapter is based on the original work only.

Sanditon Season 2: The Plot of the Show

This beautiful story from an unfinished novel of Jane mainly revolves around a young lady named Charlotte Heywood and a guy Sidney, whom later she falls in love with. Charlotte comes to leave with her friends in a seaside resort town leaving her small, sheltered home. She is destined to marry Sidney, but in the final episode, they do not. This is definitely not the kind of end we expect from Jane’s fan, indeed this isn’t the ending of their story. The producer of Sanditon agrees that if she gets a chance to make another season then the ending will surely be different.
