Police Arresting a Knife Wielding Man in Brazil as per the Video Recorded Is It Real?

Nowadays social media is full of videos which show how people who are not following government guidelines are being treated by police. Though the maximum of these videoes are aimed at giving a message to people to stay inside their home but many of these are fake also. Same is the video which is viewed more than thousand times on Facebook and Twitter which shows how Italy police is arresting a man who is breaking the rules of lockdown.

The video is asking people to stay inside or otherwise they have to face the same situation. But the video is fake as it is a video of knife-wielding man in the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo who is being arrested by police.

The video was posted on Facebook on March 22, 2020 and has been viewed more than 957,000 times it also has a post in Urdu language which says that the pakistani people should take the virus seriously otherwise distance will be maintained forcibly like in Italy where initially neither people nor the government took the social distancing seriously and now people are being detained for the same.

Italy has been most affected by coronavirus where government has imposed complete lockdown. The video has also been shared on Twitter. The claim is false as it is the video which is published by Globo, a major Brazilian media network, on March 20, 2020 which shows police arresting a knife-wielding man in the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo.
