What Is the Movement About?

Suicide Squad the movie released a few years ago. It was again one of those disappointing DC movies with the lackluster script and tepid characters. It tanked at the Hollywood box office and was considered one of the biggest flops of that year. Now the fans have had a sneak peek at the version directed by David Ayer. They are demanding to release Ayer’s cut of the Suicide Squad movie which will be far more entertaining for the viewers.

What Did the Director Say?

It was the director’s comment that sparked off the debate. He said that in the Zack Snyder version, many scenes were eliminated from the original movie. It became a comic spin-off like Deadpool. It was meant to be more serious. Jared Leto’s Joker got the most minimum amount of screen time. Many of his scenes were cut and edited. Even the importance of Harley Quinn’s character played by Margot Robbie was downgraded. The movie meandered from its ultimate objective and became a botched up drama in the end. Ayer was adamant that the changes made hampered the movies collection at the box office. He also told his fans that he would like to re-release the movie. But for the permission of asking for the feature rights of the movie from Warner Bros. he wanted to take help from his fans.
