‘Ghost Recon – Wildlands’ is the tenth part of Tom Clancy’s game series published by Ubisoft named ‘Ghost Recon’ where ghost stands for the special officers from the U.S. Force. The game’s main feature is the tactical shooting. The time period of the game is set in Bolivia. The player fights to stop the Mexican Drug Cartel and it’s boss El Sueno.
The First Principal game of the series was released on November 13, 2007, and it was made available on Windows, XboxOne and The PlayStation 4. While The Ghost Recon-Wildlands was released on 7th March 2017.
Ghost Recon Wildlands is also available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and on Windows. The game is quite famous because of its open-world environment and that made people wonder if the game is Cross-Platform or not. The game is developed by red Strom entertainment with the association of Ubisoft.
The game is NOT cross-platform though it is a multiplayer game. You can play this game with your friends but with only those who have the same gaming platform as you. You can not play this game with those who have a different gaming platform than yours.
The latest game in the Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon was released on 4th October 2019 and it is the sequel to Ghost Recon Wildlands. Even Ghost Recon Breakpoint is not Cross-platform. There is a total of 15 games into the series.
