The photo-sharing giant Instagram has officially just launched the quiz stickers which will allow its users to create multiple-choice questions (MCQs) for their followers to answer. The Quiz stickers feature are designed to be used in the Instagram stories tab and it will function similarly to other interactive stickers on the platform, such as the poll sticker and the emoji slider.
Instagram users can now add these quiz stickers to their Instagram stories by selecting it from the sticker tray option after taking a photo or video on the app. You can write your question and also add between two to four possible answers like a multiple choice question format in our high school tests. Then your followers will be able to select the correct answer from the options and share it with your story. When other users on the app try to interact with the quiz sticker, you can also see their answers in the Instagram story viewers list.
Why Use Instagram Quiz Stickers?
The greatest benefit of using the Instagram quiz stickers, or any other interactive sticker for that matter, is the raw engagement it will bring on the platform. When a user on the platform tries to interact with one of your Instagram stories, it sends certain signals to Instagram’s algorithm. These signals may then be used to rank your Instagram stories higher in the user’s story carousel feature.
Getting your followers to not just view your content in the platform but also interact with it will be key towards reaching an even greater percentage of your followers on Instagram. Instagram Quiz stickers can also be used to help your audience get to know you and your business in a more in-depth manner.
Asking questions that are specifically related to your business can educate your followers in a better way, and also help you to discover who your biggest fans are on the platform. Instagram Quiz stickers will be available as of today and you can get this feature on your app by updating your Instagram app on the iOS App store or the Google Play Store.
Instagram has recently seen a surge in users who are utilizing their stories feature, and the number of people who use Instagram stories is set to hit 500 million by the end of 2019. This is why the platform is trying to introduce new tools, such as the Quiz Stickers feature to add more functionality to its Stories and help its users to engage more on the platform. Instagram is owned by Facebook, and the platform is seeing an increasing number of ad revenue that is coming from its Stories feature.
