Heidi Thomas Shared How Her Husband Stephen McGann Helped Her While Facing Difficulties in Writing ‘Call the Midwife


Call The Midwife is one of the oldest shows running on PBS BBC One till date. It has completed 9 seasons successfully. The first season was aired on 2012. Call The Midwife is created and produced by Heidi Thomas. Recently  the shooting had resumed for the 10th Season after they stopped the shooting in March due to the corona virus situation and the lock-down. Heidi Thomas had appeared on the Lorraine Show and said how she didn’t feel the connect with her work and she had difficulty writing the script for season 10 at home during the lock-down.

There is no doubt that she was not the only one who didn’t feel the connect with her work during the lock-down. We all somewhere or the other have felt that with our work during this situation. There have been times where we didn’t feel like to work from home because we were so used to steeping outside our homes and working the entire day.

Heidi Thomas who is married to Stephen McGann said, her husband has helped her out to complete her writing and motivated her. She also said how she is grateful to have fans who have always been supporting the show since the beginning of season 1. The fans are really excited for the new season to aired.
