His show Abroad Understanding catapulted him into huge stardom and since then, he has never had to look back. More recently, his Netflix series Hasmukh has proved his caliber as a writer as he is one of the co-creator and co-writer of the show.

The dark comedy induced series is extremely well written and equally jarring. The plot revolves around Hasmukh Sudiya, played by Vir Das, who needs to murder people to write successful comedy.

The release date has been set for March 2021. As for now, that is the set date. Whether the COVID-19 infections will halt the release and postpon it, is still unclear.
