EVO 2020 : Canceled All We Know so Far About the Updates

EVO stands for Evolution Championship Series which a major and popular fighting game. It the largest fighting game held annually. Contestants travel from all over the world to participate, notably from Japan. The event mainly focusses on fighting games. The Prestigious game.

Why the Event Has Been Cancelled?

EVO 2020 Organizers have announced about the event recently noting it has been canceled due to Coronavirus Pandemic. The Organizers of the event made an official statement on their twitter account recently “Due to COVID-19, we are sadly canceling Evo 2020 at Mandalay Bay and refunding all purchased tickets…The health and well-being of our community is our highest priority. We hope everyone stays safe during this time.”

Evo has been moved and set on from July 31 to August 2. Also, they have an online replacement to the event this summer keeping up the spirit of the audiences alive. This statement was made on the Official account of the team on Twitter.

Where Will EVO 2020 Be Held on :

As the Offline event was Cancelled and the team of Organizers made an Online replacement which is heartbreaking news for the fans and hurt the most but we can’t do anything amid COVID-19 abiding the rules and regulations for the safety. However, the online replacement which will be made this summer and will be scheduled in Las Vegas from July 31 to August 2 for the 2020 edition.

Who Would Be Part of This?

It is Reported that  Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Dragon Ball FighterZ and Tekken 7 would be part of the event line-up.
