Diana Rigg Game of Thrones Character Passes Away at 82

Actress Dame Diana Rigg, who’s popular for her role in The Avengers, Game of thrones has died at the age of 82.

Her daughter, Actress Rachael Stirling, told that the reason behind her death is cancer. It was diagnosed in March. She also said that she spent her last months happily, filled with love, happiness and pride in her professional life.
Rigg was born on July 20,1948 in Doncaster, England.

She was a toddler when her family shifted to India and her father worked as a railway engineer there. She returned to England after few years. She was provided training at Royal Academy of Dramatic Art after her graduation from school.
Also, Lazenby said that he was really sad to hear news of her death. Bond producers Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli also paid tribute.

The official account of Games of Thrones also paid tribute to her through Twitter. It said, ‘Be a dragon. The realm will always remember Diana Rigg.’ Her fans also started paying her tribute when they got to know about her death.
Actor James Dreyfus wrote ‘ RIP Dame Diana Rigg. One of our greatest.’

Apart from Games of Thrones, Rigg had performed in various other movies and TV shows.

Besides this, she has received awards like an Emmy and two BAFTA awards. She was an excellent artist and a person.
