The American crime drama series, Better Call Saul has enjoyed a successful 5 season until now. The hugely popular series created by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould is considered as one of the best spinoff drama we have seen over the past few years. The latest season was premiered in February 2020. If you’ve watched the series then surely you’re among those curious for the announcement of another season in the huge franchise. Here are some of the specific details regarding any update of the series.
When will Season 6 Release?
The AMC network has confirmed that there will be another season of the Breaking Bad spinoff series. The news came a month earlier before the fifth season was due to release. AMC also stated that this will be the final season of the hit drama series. That’s some sad news for the fans who have been obsessed with the show. Unlike the previous season which featured 10 episodes on each of its seasons, the final season will consist of a total of 13 episodes.
As of now, there has not been any official release date confirmed by the creators. The reason might have been the coronavirus pandemic that has halted all the production works of movies and tv shows. Because the 5th season premiered this year, it would be safe to assume that we could get some new footage of the show sometime in 2021. But that also seems uncertain at the moment.
What Will Be the Plot of Season 6 of Better Call Saul?
Given the excellent storyline of season 5, the writers would have to live up to the viewers with a proper conclusion for the show. The character of Jimmy McGill will surely get the transformation that had not happened in season 5. Jimmy/Kim’s relationship is going to get stronger as they team up to take down Howard Hamlin. There’s much more going to happen for the memorable finale of the series.
Who Is the Cast for Season 6?
The main cast will surely be back for the show with the addition of the recurring roles. We shouldn’t be surprised if any Breaking Bad characters appear in the finale season. Here are the main characters:
- Bob Odenkirk (Jimmy McGill / Saul Goodman / Gene Takavic)
- Jonathan Banks (Mike Ehrmantraut)
- Rhea Seehorn (Kim Wexler)
- Patrick Fabian (Howard Hamlin)
