Altered Carbon Season 3 Release Date, Cast, Story and Update We Know so Far

ALTERED CARBON

Altered Carbon — The Scifi madness based on the book of the same name by Richard K. Morgan took two years to release the second installment of the fan-favorite series. However, it was worth the wait.

Season 2 returned with a new actor playing the role of Takeshi Kovac with a hell lot more of action and AI’s and more stacks. With Kovac’s stack destroyed while killing the Elder, will we see more of the Last Envoy in the upcoming season? Read ahead to find out.

When Altered Carbon Season 3 Will Air on Netflix?

As of yet, there hasn’t been any official confirmation by the streaming giant but taking into account the show’s huge popularity and massive fan base we could surely be hopeful of seeing more cortical stacks.

While Netflix took almost five months to announce the season 2 when season 1 aired in February. We could see a similar pattern this time. A trailer for the same won’t be released until 2021. This is surely going to test the patience of the fans.

Altered Carbon Story Till Now

Takeshi Kovacs, the last envoy is back with a new sleeve and looking for the creator of the stacks, Quellcrist Falconer who is also his love interest since season 1. Falconer who is a host of the Elder creature is on the planet of Harlan’s World to take revenge on the founders and killed them all.

Kovacs somehow manages to take the Elder into his stack and destroys his stack and dies to save mankind. Is our Last Envoy dead? Not yet.

Poe after a full reboot founds out he has some secret data hiding within his system. Using Annabel’s help he discovers that it’s a raw human DHF.

This could be our Kovac — Or not?

The Cast for Altered Carbon Season 3

Most of the cast is about to remain the same but we can’t be any sure about Kovac. As his sleeve was destroyed toward the end of the previous season it’s highly likely that we would get a new lead.

Chris Conner will return as Poe, Renée Elise Goldsberry with again be seen as Falconer, Simone Missik as the bounty hunter Trepp and Dina Shihabi will retain the character of Dig 301 aka Annabelle.

We better not keep any expectation for the series to release anytime soon, not until 2021.
