The Disney Family Singalong is an American show broadcasted by ABC which went on air on 16th April 2020. The show is hosted by Ryan Seacrest featuring celebrities and their families as they sing their most favorite Disney tunes from homes all around the world. The event runs right after ‘American Idol’ at 8 p.m. and is an hour-long. The main motive of the show is to bring people together and to make them feel a sense of togetherness.
Due to the whole world pandemic situation, it has been really hard on people and therefore this show will cheer them up. Also, just because we are practicing social distancing doesn’t mean that we can tune in to our favorite Disney songs while comforting in our living rooms. The money raised from the show will be helped to support an organization named ‘Feeding America’, where they help people facing hunger and also to the food banks who have helped these people during all these difficult times of pandemic.
What Is It All About?
The event was announced officially for the nationwide Mother’s Day singalong event where the first round of celebrity guests would join.
The guests include all of our most celebrated artists including Ariana Grande, Marcus Scribner, Darren Criss, Tori Kelly, Demi Lovato, Elle Fanning, Josh Groban, and Alan Menken. Amongst the other celebrity guests, it includes Bobby Bones, Michael Buble, Christina Aguilera, Erin Andrews, Luke Evans, Josh Gad, Donny Osmond, Thomas Rhett, John Stamos, Julianne Hough, Derek Hough, and many more from across the Walt Disney Television, Disney Music Group, Walt Disney Company Portfolio, and Disney Theatrical Productions.
